Join the PTA! - PTA Membership/Directory Form

The #1 reason to join the Thornton Creek Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. Joining the PTA helps you stay connected, discover great resources, support our teachers and administrators, make a difference and just have fun! Membership also gives you a voice in deciding the direction of the Thornton Creek PTA. Only members can vote on PTA issues, chair PTA committees and hold a PTA office. Every member will receive access to the PTA student directory on the website.

Paperless PTA Directory App!
Our paperless data collection process is super simple AND the directory will be available to all PTA members on your computer as well as your smart phone.
How does it work?
Just 2 steps! Confirming or collecting your information online and then giving you secure access to the online system.
Returning families: You will receive an email with a link to the current information we have in our system. Just click on the link to update your information using our secure online form. If you don’t get this email (spam, your email has changed, etc.) please go to and enter your email.  It will remember you even if it has been a year.

New Families to the school or to the directory:

How do you access the online directory?
Once we have received and reviewed your family’s information you will receive an email with login instructions. Our plan is to go live the first week of school so please confirm your data!
What’s so great about the online directory?
It’s secure – your family will have a unique login and password and the directory can’t be lost or stolen.
You can search by student’s first name, grade, teacher and family last name.
You can create your own custom list of frequently called families.
You can access the family directory from any internet connected device: your computer, smart phone, iPad, etc.

Volunteer for a PTA Committee!

Our PTA Committees rely on parent volunteers for their success. Look for information to volunteer on PTA Committees in the Gator Gazette. The time you commit is up to you. There is something for every interest and every schedule. It’s a rewarding feeling to be involved in the PTA and the school; it helps to reinforce and demonstrate your belief in the importance of your child’s education.  Volunteering on a PTA Committee is also a great way to meet other parents at Thornton Creek.  For a summary of our current PTA Committees, check out the Committees page.

Support the PTA - contribute to the Fall Fundraiser!

Due to the great feedback and strong participation from Thornton Creek families who prefer making a donation in lieu of product fundraising, we will continue this successful tradition. The Thornton Creek PTA Fall Fundraiser sponsors many educational assemblies and programs through the year as well as providing funds for teacher grants and curriculum materials.
